Triage speed without a trail is not control

Clearing a queue quickly is not the same as demonstrating judgement. Reviewers ask how an alert was prioritised, who saw it, and why it closed.

In alert triage reviews we sample cases for timestamps, rationale, and escalation. Teams that optimise only for age often discover thin notes and inconsistent criteria — especially across shifts.

If your next assurance cycle will ask for evidence, treat documentation quality as part of the SLA, not an afterthought. A slower close with a complete trail usually survives scrutiny better than a fast empty one.
