Where screening ends and monitoring begins
Screening tools and transaction monitoring platforms often sit with different owners. Hits that should inform ongoing monitoring sometimes stop at a ticket that never reopens.
In handoff audits we follow a small set of cases across both systems. The weak points are familiar: unclear ownership, duplicated effort, or a hit that never reaches the monitoring queue because the SLA was defined only inside one tool.
Map the path once, name the owners, and sample across the join. That single exercise usually explains more findings than another month of isolated dashboard tuning.
